2 X 4 Mount

We discovered this simple technique in the Cohen Brother's film Blood Simple. With a person on each end of the 2 X 4, the camera can be manovered over pretty much anything. A bolt runs up through the 2 X 4 and screws dirrectly into the threaded hole of the camera. This is a very simple idea, but creates some impressive shots. It takes some work and steady movement to produce smooth shots, but well worth the cost of a 2 X 4, washer, and bolt.
